---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
slope's obsidian digs deep. slow motion frozen landscapes. threads of light in darkness. cool blacks and greys and dark blues, mixed in with enough glow and warmth to maintain a type of subdued vitality. like a underground river with a strong and silent current, or a heart beating underneath a quiet exterior - it's what's below the surface.
slope's release is a natural fit for low indigo for several reasons. he's one of the founding members of the closely related modern math imprint, a familiar collaborator with kline, and no stranger to vancouver and bc's west coast. slope, better known as dan solo to some, is also one half of sanctums - who's other half, corinthian, appears on two tracks and provides a perfectly paired video for the release.
